      James Adams is currently looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager. This is a contract position working 1 day pw in Birmingham 4 days from home. This is inside IR35, 6 months initial with a view to extend.

       

      As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will lead one or more projects to deliver products, services, or transformations through a team. You will excel at managing complexity and breaking down barriers, ensuring the delivery of quality solutions on time and value to customers. You will play a key role in determining project needs, building high-performing teams, and providing practical solutions that meet the strategic and tactical needs of the business.

       

      Role Responsibilities:

      • Deliver projects and products using appropriate agile project management methodologies, with frequent learning and iteration
      • Work with Product Owner to define product roadmap and translate it into customer journeys and user stories
      • Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process and prioritize work with the product owner
      • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and use Agile Tools such as Azure DevOps to adhere to the agile framework
      • Matrix-manage a multidisciplinary team
      • Ensure deliverables are built to an appropriate level of quality by using an established test framework
      • Deliver releases at the end of each sprint
      • Provide clear, transparent reporting and communication throughout the SDLC
      • Develop and implement solution roadmaps with the product owner
      • Act as a key liaison point between the product owner and delivery stream, ensuring solutions meet business needs
      • Develop and implement rationale for portfolio management and phase-in-phase-out plans
      • Implement appropriate technologies and meet customer needs
      • Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
      • Collaborate with the Change Team on the pipeline management process

      • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix management structure.
