Citrix & Virtualisation Technical Specialist
Location: Birmingham (hybrid working options)
Salary Package: £45,000 – £52,000 (DOE), plus benefits
We are looking for a Technical Specialist with a focus on Citrix & Virtualisation to join a fantastic organisation based in Birmingham. As a hands-on technical expert, you will be responsible for supporting our Virtualisation and EUC engineering team, providing technical guidance to our Infrastructure team, and managing incidents and problems in customer environments within agreed service levels.
In addition, you will work closely with the project team to ensure technical solutions are aligned with our customers’ requirements, and you will be responsible for completing and updating technical documentation to professional standards. You will also play an important role in identifying technical problems and potential service improvements across our customers’ Virtualisation and EUC environments.
To be successful in this role, you should have proven hands-on experience supporting technical environments, including an excellent understanding and practical knowledge of Citrix technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler, App-V, AppSense, CAG, CSG, EdgeSight, Director, PVS/MCS, Thin Clients). You should also be able to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site, and multi-disciplinary problems and incidents, and have excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation skills.
