Data Operations Manager

James Adams is seeking a Data Operations Manager on behalf of our fast-growing UK Tech client operating in the MSP and IT Services Space. The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a team of support analysts and database support engineers. The Data Operations Manager will deliver around the clock database support to internal and external customers in a MSP environment.
  
The Data Ops Support Team Lead will report to the Head of Support and manage the Data Ops Support Team’s performance and delivery of database services to Node4 customers. They will ensure that the team meets deliverables and service level SLA’s while delivering exceptional service.
  
We are looking for applicants with the following skills:  

• To qualify for this position, you should have experience managing technical support teams, thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
• ITIL v3 or v4 foundation is preferred, and familiarity and professional experience with SQL server database technologies, as well as other database-related technologies like Oracle, MYSQL etc is a plus.
• Experience and understanding of the underpinning infrastructure, platforms, and backup technologies used for the database environment are also necessary.
• Any experience within IT Services or MSP based environments would be highly preferable.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong focus on customer service, team collaboration, and process improvement, with experience managing a team of technical support analysts and database engineers.
