Engineering Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £50-63k

Our client is an established e-commerce company seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our talented engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality software solutions, ensuring code quality, and driving continuous improvement of our development processes.

You’ll lead and manage a team of highly skilled engineers, setting and maintaining high standards for code quality, architecture, and development practices. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, identifying whilst mitigate technical risks and providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on back-end development and architecture.
• Proven experience in mentoring or managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
