Senior Agile Delivery Manager

James Adams is currently looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager. This is a contract position inside IR35 requiring 1 day pw in either London or Cardiff. This is a 3 month initial contract with a view to extend.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead one or more agile teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes. To accomplish this, you will need to create a positive working environment for your team(s) and proactively manage their capacity. Additionally, you must ensure that all work is visible and has a clear iterative plan, communicate and visualize progress towards goals, and address risks, issues, and dependencies. You will also need to engage with key stakeholders, establish relationships and effective cross-team collaboration, empower teams to be self-organizing, and continually improve delivery methods and approaches.

• Possess the ability to plan at a higher level and break down barriers for their team
• Be capable of creating a culture of psychological safety in teams and actively manage team dynamics
• Have demonstrable experience delivering digital products and services using agile methods
• Have knowledge of a variety of agile practices and how best to apply these
• Be a team player and active listener who can give clear, actionable feedback, allowing them to build trust, manage complex team dynamics, and motivate everyone to work towards a common goal
• Have demonstrable experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams and be able to influence, bridge specialisms, and navigate ambiguity
• Support effective supplier and budget management to deliver successful outcomes.
