Senior QA Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

Location: York/Hybrid (1x a week in the office)

James Adams has partnered with one of the leading Insurance businesses, specialising in tailored insurance solutions, with offices across the UK, EU, US and Asia. They are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their team, with the opportunity to lead a small team of QA’s.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be working in a team of 20+ QAs, currently working in different teams across different products of the business. This particular opportunity will see you working across one of our client’s core products, with the opportunity to lead and mentor 2 QA Engineers. This role would allow you to work across a variety of different systems and application software such as Web, API and Data Warehouse, and would see you getting hands-on involved in various areas such as testing, training, planning and coordination activities.

This role would be ideal if you have the following experience:

• Experience leading and coordinating testing for projects/squad/team
• Experience in various test methodologies – both agile and waterfall
• Experience testing various system and application software – Web, API, Data warehouse etc and associated tools and techniques such as Postman, SoapUI and Percy
• Excellent communication skills with a drive to take ownership
