Adam’s first thought when launching James Adams was to build a company with a culture he would be proud of. He wanted to work with hard-working, trustworthy people that have a passion for delivering an exceptional level of service. Adam firmly believes that if the culture of the business is right, success will follow!
Adam had the pleasure of starting his recruitment career in 2008 as we hit the global credit crunch/recession. What was initially a very challenging period, developed into a fantastic 12 years working with SME’s and Blue-Chip companies across the UK.
His area of expertise is Cloud/Infrastructure, InfoSec and Change.
Outside of work, Adam and his wife have 2 fantastic children, Albie & Annabelle. He is also a life-long fan of Sheffield Wednesday FC.
James has been a Tech & Digital recruiter for 11 years. 2020 sees a new chapter begin in James Adams.
James has helped people in the tech & digital space across the UK & Europe find their next role or hire for over a decade. He specialises in sourcing hard to find roles within engineering, design, product, and leadership on an interim or permanent basis. He’s worked for some of the UK and Europe’s fast-growing and award-winning digital agencies, media brands, consultancies, tech companies and start up’s.
The tech & digital market has become increasingly crowded and competitive in the last 10 years. It’s more difficult than ever for a message to cut through the noise to engage the right talent. James feels the best way to identify and attract talent is curating a unique value proposition for every opportunity. Half the fun of working in recruitment is working with a client to help them realise their own. The other half is working with a candidate so they can do the same!
When he’s not recruiting you can probably find him running (although slowly) and training for a half marathon. James & his wife Claire have recently had a baby daughter, Evelyn, so he also enjoys napping when he can find the time to do so.
